Tell us about a creative kid who is a main character in a book that you enjoy! When I was young I can remember Miss Steffen reading "Where The Wild Things Are" (by MauriceSendak) to my class. It was like I was hearing someone read for the very first time. I so loved hearing about a creative, smart, funny, naughty kid! i will always love that book and it's illustrations. ...and Miss Steffen (Mrs. Rassler to most of you) When I was about 9 or 10 my favorite book was "From the Mixed of Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweller" by E.L. Konigsburg. I was so interested in the Metroplotian Museum of Art and all of the historical items and paintings that were discussed. I could hardly wait to read each chapter and learn about their budgeted money and adventures. I still love to read that book. I read it to my girls when they were about 9.

I read a book called "Born at Midnight" and the main character is Kylie Galen. She was always thought to be a normal kid, but then she get's sent to a camp for supernaturals adn starts to belive she is not normal. I think she is creatative and fun because she has the most craziest ideas and thinks outside the box. She tries to find out waht kind of supernatural she is and comes up with some very creative ideas. I really enjoyed this book.

The book that I read was called "How to Rock Braces and Glasses" and the main character is Kacey Simon. I really liked this book because of the main character, Kacey. Kacey is a really nice person who most people enjoy to be around. I really like Kacey in this book because she teaches very good lessons that you should follow everyday. I really enjoyed this book.

The creative character I thought of was Danny Walker, in the book Travel Team. Mike Lupica is the author of that book and the sequel, Summer Ball. Danny is a very smart kid and he likes basketball a lot. His dad was drafted in the NBA after college but never panned out. Danny is very short and he gets down on himself for being so short. When he doesn't make the cut for his middle school basketball team, just because of his height, he becomes very depressed because of his height. So in this case, even though Danny is smart and a great basketball player too, he thinks he is held back by his height.
